I’d love to know what you are reading.
Of course, I’m not starting a book club with my blog. I’m curious and interested. Let’s call it a sharing moment.
I just finished Shirley MacLaine‘s I’m Over All That: And Other Confessions. She’s funny, has had some interesting experiences in and out of Hollywood, knows some people and she shares it in her book. Yes, she does talk about reincarnation and other life from outer space. It’s part of her experience, after all, and it’s pretty interesting how she ties it all together.
Next on my list is The 19th Wife by David Ebershoff. It was my mom’s traveling book when she visited in December. I might as well dust if off and give it a read especially since she gave it 2 thumb’s up.
The story is about Ann Eliza Young, one of the many (55 according to Wikipedia) wives of Brigham Young. Talk about putting a spin on the phrase “baby mamas!”
So tell us…what are you reading? Or, what have you just finished reading? Would you recommend it?
The 19th Wife was a very interesting and it was a good read. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I forgot I gave you the book because I had told my Dentist’s wife about it and she said she wanted to read it also. But they now have a movie on The 19th Wife, but it is not as good as the book.
